Francesca Calamita (Italian) publishes Ti trovo cambiata
In her newest book, Ti trovo Cambiata, Calamita reflects on the condition of women in contemporary Italian society: education and studies; career and work; families; sex; health; women’s visibility; national politics and geopolitics; leisure time; beauty and the body. To create this collective portrait, Calamita worked with the results of an anonymous online survey consisting of fifty questions addressed to all women aged eighteen and over. In carrying out this wide-ranging inquiry, Calamita also engages with the work of writers and scholars who address these issues: Cristina Carelli, Eleonora Cirant, Corinna De Cesare, Federica Di Sarcina, Ida Dominijanni, Giorgia Fasoli, Vera Gheno, Adalgisa Giorgio, Rula Jebreal, Francesca Giannone, Bernadette Luciano, Alessandra Maiorino, Michela Marzano, Debora Migliucci, Nogaye Ndiaye, Vanessa Roghi, Irene Soave, Paola Pasquini, and Roberta Trapé. The book is accompanied by their exclusive interviews.
