The Institute of World Languages (IWL) aims to support undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional abilities in the acquisition of any world language and culture, as well as great scholarly promise and potential to carry out a research project abroad.

Eligibility

• Be a currently enrolled undergraduate student
• Maintain good academic and disciplinary standing
• Be approved to participate. Submit either 
  • Education Abroad Application
  • ZMT: Student Projects Abroad note: the "ZMT: Travel Form for Student Research and Learning Abroad" requirement must be complete by the scholarship application deadline.

Expectations

• Comply with Institutional Review Board (IRB) policies and protocols

Scholarship awards may be up to $3000 and will be commensurate with the number and quality of applications.
