The IWL Language Dinner Table aims to meet the needs of students who are passionate about learning world languages and cultures on grounds.  During this event, students from across the UVa community who are studying will enjoy a free catered dinner while seated at one of many different language tables. When you sign up, you will indicate which language you are studying, and we will seat you at a table with other students who are studying the same foreign language. All table conversations will be conducted in that language, providing you with an opportunity for full immersion! We hope that by providing a dynamic, informal social setting, students will have the chance to practice their target language while meeting people who share similar interests.

The dinner will be filled on a first come, first served basis. We will do our absolute best to accommodate everyone who signs up, though there is a chance certain languages will not have enough sign-ups to fill up a table. We will notify you as soon as possible if this is the case.
