Title: Researching the effects of task sequencing and strategic planning on second language (L2) written production

Using Robinson’s (2010) SSARC model, this study explores the effects of task sequencing (± elements) and strategic planning (± planning) on complexity, accuracy, and ]uency in three argumentative writing tasks in the simple-complex sequence versus in the absence of any other tasks, and offers practical implications for teachers on how to sequence pedagogic tasks for learners as to maximize opportunities for learning to occur, and to create an optimal learning environment
