Language is a dynamic and ever-developing entity. Teaching language that is being used contemporarily among the target language speakers makes students confident in their day-to-day use of the target language. Thus, I will talk about how my advanced-level Hindi language course, "Hindi in Contemporary Media," helped my students gain confidence in their conversational Hindi.
