Language Faculty present at Louisa County Teacher Professional Development Day

Liz Hall (IWL, French), Rachel Geer (French), Kate Neff (Spanish), and Greg Propp (ASL) participated in Louisa County Public Schools’ Teacher Professional Day on October 12 with a presentation for K-12 language teachers. Their presentation was on "Building Community and Student Motivation through Culturally Embedded Language Learning,” and included four mini-workshops: "Let's go to Senegal!" (Rachel Geer), "Level Up Your Testing" (Liz Hall), "For Real! Authentic Media" (Kate Neff), and "Creating Communities (Gregory Propp).
