Engagement and interaction are key to the success of language teaching and learning. In recognition of language faculty’s innovation in creating meaningful and impactful experiences for students, IWL has allocated funding to support classroom activities and projects promoting student engagement in courses that faculty are currently teaching.
To foster full engagement and quality classroom interactions, the IWL offers up to $500.00 for faculty to purchase instructional materials, engage guest speakers, organize course-related activities, hire student assistants to develop materials, facilitate discussion, analyze data, coordinate events or other relevant tasks.
