The "Siena Blog Project": A Transatlantic Learning Activity Uniting Students On-Grounds with their Cohorts in Italy

The “Siena Blog Project” engages Italian language students in two places -- here in Charlottesville and at UVa in Siena — in a common learning experience.  Participation in the virtual space sharpens foreign language writing skills, reading comprehension, and cross-cultural awareness, as it also lets students “back home” vicariously access the study abroad experience.
